I grew up with my mom cutting my hair, then I grew up and had to fend for myself. The thought a paying a monthly fee to keep my hair presentable was unacceptable so I bought a Wahl about four years ago for $30, I haven't paid for a haircut since then. The first year I buzzed my hair off at one length, and made a couple blunders. But I have gotten better and now I can texture it shorter on the sides and longer on the top. It makes me feel economical and independent to cut my own hair.
