You've heard it before. The best move for your wallet (and your lungs) is to just quit. Set a date ahead of time.

Quitting Smoking Can $ave You Lot$
I quit smoking last Friday, August 7, 2009, with the help of a Prescription (Chantix). The prescription cost $180 for the starter pack and $180 for the continuing pack. My insurance copay was $35 for each set. So it was $70 total in copays for the Prescription. I usually spend $5 every 2 days for a pack of cigarettes. 365/days/year divided by 2 equals 182.5 days x $5/pack equals $912.50/year in savings. I don't smell like an ashtray. My lungs are clearing up. I have more energy. I feel healthier. And, I'm saving $912.50/year by not smoking. Even if you don't have health insurance but can afford the $360 for the full prescription...it's worth it either way. A small investment for a big profit.
